Setting up gating token for voting

Configure a gating token for your group voting to allow only certain tokens or NFT holders to vote.

Configure the gating token

Go to Manage>Poll settings to configure the gating token:

Choose a Chain and Contract Type, input a contract address and custom alias for this token gate, then click on the Save button:

Make sure the selected blockchain and Contract Type match the input contract address.

Metaforo also allows the admin to set the gating token by using an NFT address:

Click on the ADD MORE button to add more gating tokens.

Create a new poll with the configured gating token.

Switch the Poll type to 'Only NFT owner' if you want to limit the voting power by ERC721 or ERC1155.
