Metaforo allows you to organize the topics. So it's easy for the user to navigate. There are two ways to organize topics: Category and Label. You can also use both at the same time.
Manage Categories It works similarly to a sub-forum, essentially a topic can only belong to one category. When the group is set to have categories, your members must select a category.
On the Editing page, you can update the category name and icon or reset the Parent category:
There are three kinds of permission for a Category: See, Reply and Create.
There are three kinds of titles by default in the drop-down list of the 'Add a Title' option: Everyone, Mods, and Admins.
If your Discord roles have been imported to your Metaforo Group, the Discord roles title will also be displayed in this drop-down list. Check out 'Map all of your members' discord titles to their Metaforo accounts' for more info.
Removing the 'Everyone' permission first in the Security setting of this category:
Choose the 'Admins' title in the "Add a Title" drop-down list
Set the permission to "see", "reply", and "create" accordingly.
Now this category will only be available for Admins.
Labels are displayed at the bottom of the topic and are mostly used as a way to tag more than one context-related label. A topic can have multiple labels (or no label at all if the Admin chooses not to allow labels in the group). When users create a new topic, they can select one or more labels.
This setting is at the bottom of this Label editing page:
