Any Realms NFT Holder has the ability to submit proposal rounds, cast votes, and apply to become a delegate for a round. Additionally, individuals with an Ethereum address, irrespective of their Realms Holder status, can review Frontinus House (FH) content and create proposals for rounds. This inclusive approach allows for wider participation and fosters an open ecosystem where diverse perspectives can contribute to the growth and development of the platform.
A proposal round serves as a means to strengthen the ecosystem for the community it represents. During these rounds, builders have the opportunity to propose ideas that can secure funding. The process is as follows:
Initiation: A proposal round is initiated once it receives approval from the community administrators. Each funding round comes with a predetermined amount of capital to be distributed among winners (e.g., 1 ETH for 5 winners). The round is divided into two distinct periods - the proposing period and the voting period.
Proposing Period: The proposing period commences, enabling builders to submit their ideas for potential funding.
Proposal Submission: Builders can present their project ideas, detailing how they plan to utilize the funding for the betterment of the ecosystem.
Proposing Period Closure: Once the proposing period ends, the platform transitions into the voting period.
Voting Period: Realms NFT holders are now invited to cast their votes for their preferred proposals.
Evaluation: The voting period concludes, and the proposals with the highest number of votes are selected for funding.
Funding Allocation: The top proposals, based on the voting results, receive the allocated capital to bring their ideas to life.
By following this transparent and participatory process, the proposal rounds aim to promote innovation, collaboration, and growth within the community, fostering an environment where builders' ideas are nurtured and the collective vision of the community can be realized.
To begin the process, login and simply click on the 'Create a proposal round' button. This action will initiate the procedure for proposing ideas and seeking funding for projects within the community.
A template is provided here for creating a proposal round.
Completing the process is easy. Just fill out our form with some basic information about your round, amendments are required in sections in parentheses of the template.
You'll be asked for essential details such as round timing, award amount, and round name. Providing this information will help us better understand your proposal and facilitate the funding process efficiently.
Once you've filled out the form, your round will undergo an administrative review. Once approved, your round will be scheduled to go live. The admin team strives to process the approvals promptly so that your proposal can be presented to the community as quickly as possible.
Submitting proposals and votes comes at no cost! We believe in fostering an inclusive and accessible environment for all. As long as you have an Ethereum address, you can freely submit a proposal to any funding round, regardless of your status as a Realms Holder. This approach encourages broad participation and ensures that diverse perspectives contribute to the growth and success of the community.
To access a round that is currently in the Proposing status:

You can only edit your proposal when the round status is in the "proposing" phase.
Open and review your proposal in a round that is currently in the Proposing status. The "Edit" function is displayed under the proposal title. Click on it, and you will be taken to the Edit Proposal page.
After updating the proposal content, please click on the "Submit" button to save the changes.
To participate in the voting process, your wallet must have held Realms NFTs before the snapshot block taken at the beginning of the round.
Now, you can open and review your intriguing proposal in a round that is currently in the Voting status. Take this opportunity to engage with the community and make your voice heard by casting your vote for the proposals you find compelling.
You can view your total number of available votes on the right side of the proposal details page.
If you are in favor of this proposal, you can scroll the voting bar or input the number of votes, and then simply click on the 'Approve' button.
Once you have cast your vote, your wallet address and the number of votes you've used will be visible in the votes list. You can still utilize your remaining votes to vote on other proposals in this round.
You can review your remaining votes on the right side the proposals list.
If you are a delegate, you will also find the wallet addresses of the users who have delegated their voting power to you in the votes list. You can review this information by clicking on the inverted triangle icon.
You have the option to cancel your vote before the end of the Voting status for this round.
Delegates are empowered to express opinions on proposals on behalf of authorized individuals during the round cycle. To become a delegate, Realms NFT holders must submit a campaign profile under the active Delegate round, which is created by the Admins.
Here's how to become a delegate:
Access the 'Delegation Selection' list to find an active delegation round.
Look for the status of the delegate round, which should indicate "Accepting Applicant". This means the round is currently active and accepting campaign profiles.
Access the 'Delegation Round Details', then click on the 'Become a delegate' button.
Fill out the form and click 'Submit' to list your campaign profile.
Becoming a delegate allows you to play a crucial role in representing and advocating for the views and interests of authorized individuals within the community. Take advantage of this opportunity to actively participate in the decision-making process and contribute to the growth and development of the platform.
After submitting your profile, your application will be displayed in the active delegate selection round, and everyone will have the chance to review it. However, only Realms NFT holders are allowed to delegate their voting powers to you by clicking on the 'Delegate' button.
Certainly, you have the option to cancel your delegate decision before the end of the delegation round while it is still in the delegating status.
After you click on the 'Delegate' button and signed as requested. The button will be updated to 'Cancel Delegate'.
Please be aware that the delegation will take effect once the countdown of the delegating status comes to an end.
The next phase 'Delegation Granted" begins. Throughout this period, the delegation will officially take effect and you will not be able to cancel your delegate decisions.
Proposals in the BIP sections are proposals outside of any rounds. It functions similarly to snapshot voting, you can present a proposal with multiple options for the community to vote on.
Here's a step-by-step guide on how to create a BIP:
Start by accessing the 'BIPs' section, then locate and click on the 'Create your Proposal' button.
You'll be directed to a form. Fill out all the required information, and when you're done, click 'Continue' to proceed to the next step, where you can set up the proposed options and specify the voting time.
If you wish to add more proposed options, simply click on the 'ADD OPTION' button.
Once all the necessary fields are filled out, you can go ahead and publish the proposal.
Your created BIP will appear in the BIPs list, and it will have three different statuses that may change during various periods.
Not Started: This proposal is not currently in the voting phase.
Voting: Now is the time to cast votes for the proposals.
Ended: Voting ended.
To take part in the voting process for BIPs, your wallet must have owned Realms NFTs prior to the snapshot block taken at the beginning of the round.
You can open and review a BIP that is currently in the "Voting" status.
Select a proposed option and then click on the 'Vote' button.
After you have voted, the 'Vote' button will be updated and you have the option to cancel your vote before the end of the Voting status for this proposal.
Open an active round from the Active list, and click on a proposal you're interested in.
To share your thoughts, simply click on the edit bar and input your ideas. Before casting your vote, you have the opportunity to publicly express your opinion on a proposal. This encourages discussions around proposals, leading to better and more refined ideas that benefit the entire community. Your active participation ensures a vibrant and collaborative ecosystem within the platform.
